Jon graduated from Brewer High School in 1989 and went on to play baseball for Division II Springfield College in Springfield, MA. Jon pitched all 4 years while graduating with a degree in Sports Business Management. Jon began his coaching career in 1995 at Brewer High School as an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach until 2005. Jon additionally was a two year Assistant Coach for the Brewer Falcons American Legion team where he had the privilege to coach Sluggers current Director of Baseball Jason Harvey. Jon continued for two years as an Assistant Coach at Bucksport High School. Jon has been involved with Bucksport Little League for the past 9 years as an umpire, coach as well as 4 years serving as the League President. Jon joined the Sluggers staff in 2020 where he coached our 50/70 12U Black team with Jason Harvey and Matt Kinney. Jon also coached the 15U Fall Black team. Currently Jon is coaching the Sluggers Black 14U team for the upcoming 2021 season.
