LITTLE SLUGGERS COACH PITCH LEAGUE – AGES 5-8

LITTLE SLUGGERS OBJECTIVES & DETAILS
- Teach Players Basic Throwing, Fielding & Hitting Techniques.
- Teach Players to Understand the Positions and Teach Them Not to Chase the Ball Hit into Someone Elses Position.
- Teach Players to Understand the Difference Between a Force Out vs a Tag Out.
- Teach that Players Can Get Out On a Batted Ball. Not Everyone is Safe Everytime they Hit the Ball.
- Players get Multiple Attempts at Hitting off the Coach Pitcher. After 6-7 attempts we Pull Out a Tee. At Their Next At Bat they Get Try Hit Off the Pitcher Again.
- Usually Half or More of the Group Has Participated in Little Sluggers Previously. And about Half or Less is Brand New to Little Sluggers.
