Sluggers Baseball & Softball Training Facility is a 9,000 SF, state-of-the-art facility located on Acme Rd. in Brewer, ME. Sluggers opened its doors in February of 2013 and has been making a difference in Maine athletes ever since. We work with athletes of all ages, from youth players just starting out, to college players trying to perfectly fine tune their craft. Since opening, we have had over 3,500 members.
Annually, we have around 20 different teams, host 2-3 tournaments, and bring 20,000 people into our facility. We do a multitude of events in the facility including practices, games, private lessons, camps, and clinics. For more information, please call us a (207) 951-2250!

Sluggers staff consists of 2 full time staff members, along with a multitude of part time and seasonal trainers. Our full time staff is listed below.
Brandon finished his playing career at the University of Maine in 1993-1995 and then began his coaching career at Stearns High School. He was the Assistant Coach at Stearns from 2005-2006 and became the Head Coach from 2007-2012. In 2005 Brandon started out as an Assistant Coach with the American Legion Northern Lumber and in 2011 became the Head Coach of the Northern Lumber until 2013. In 2014, he was an Assistant Coach for both the American Legion State Champions, the Bangor Comrades and the American Junior Legion State Champions, the Bangor Cadets.
Following his successful high school coaching career, Brandon spent 7 years on staff at Husson University, where he was an Assistant and First Base Coach, he also served as the Assistant Director of Facilities.
Currently, Brandon is the Owner and President at Sluggers, where he provides one on one instruction and coaches a travel team. Brandon also oversees the entire operation and handles accounting.
Jason, a Maine baseball legend, is the former head baseball coach at Husson University. There he was the winningest coach in program history, finishing with a 284-222 (.561) overall record in 12 total seasons (2008- 19).
While at Husson, Jason built the program into one of the most successful programs in the Division III. His accomplishments include 2 regular season titles, 5 conference championships, 2 NCAA National Tournament appearances, among many others.
Before his coaching career, Jason was an extremely successful athlete. He was a 4-year starting short stop at Husson and The University of Maine, including 2 years as a captain. At Husson, the three-time All-Conference shortstop was one of the greatest all-round players to wear a Husson uniform, setting numerous school records as a three-year starter for the Husson baseball program, while posting lofty career numbers with a .378 (145-384) average, 109 runs, 33 doubles, 12 triples, 11 home runs, and 104 RBI over 107 contests.
Harvey was inducted into the Husson Sports Hall of Fame as a three-sport athlete on November 30, 2012 (Baseball, Basketball, and Golf).
Currently, Jason is the Director of Baseball at Sluggers, where he is in charge of our travel baseball operation, along with overseeing all baseball related duties. He also provides one on one instruction, coaches at clinics, and coaches a travel team.
Excellent facility with excellent staff!! We joined Sluggers for the first time last year and it's probably the best decision we ever made for our son, who wants to play baseball for as long as he can!! Sluggers is allowing him that opportunity and we are beyond grateful for the wonderful coaching that goes on in Sluggers!! Excellence truly starts at Sluggers!
This is an excellent facility with an amazing team and family atmosphere! The focus on player health and development is awesome! The motivation and encouragement from the coaching staff make everyone work harder and better with each other!
